The 15th International Conference on Educational and Information Technology (ICEIT 2026) was held in Xi’an, China from March 27 to 29, 2026.
Basic Information
- Organizers: Co‑organized by IEEE, Xi’an Innovation and Maker Education Federation, and Universitas Negeri Malang (Indonesia); supported by the Research Center for Artificial Intelligence and Science & Technology Innovation Education, Shaanxi Normal University.
- Scale: Nearly 400 experts and scholars from over 30 countries and regions participated online and offline.
- Opening: Chaired by Prof. Wang Qin (Shaanxi Normal University); opening remarks by Prof. Ma Hongliang (Chair) and Prof. Arbin janu Setyowati (Universitas Negeri Malang).

- Prof. Jia Jiyou (Peking University): Application of the AI system CSIEC in EFL teaching, covering its evolution and future with large language models.
- Prof. KWOK Lam: Emerging technologies and applied talent education, analyzing challenges and proposing the VPET‑based training framework.
- Prof. Zhou Yun (Shaanxi Normal University): AI‑generated instructional videos and video‑based pedagogical agents, with evidence on learning performance and cognitive load.
